BLSA TRIAL TEAM

The BLSA Trial Team went undefeated through five rounds of competition,
taking first place in Baltimore, defeating law
students from the University of Virginia, University of Pennsylvania,
Georgetown Law Center, George Washington
University, Howard University, American University, University of
Pittsburgh, and Catholic University of
America. The championship team of 2Ls includes: Jessica Dumas, Monica
Golphin, Mia Roberts, and Joe Vazquez - who won the regional "Best
Advocate" award.


The team will compete for a National Championship in Denver, Colorado
against 11 other regional winners from around the country at the National
Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition at the end of March. The BLSA
team was coached by Mark Lee, Esq. '04, and Royce Smith, Esq. '04
