TEMPLE LAW PROFESSOR WORKS WITH LAWYERS FROM SUDAN

Joanne A. Epps, Associate Dean and professor at Temple University Law School provided trial advocacy training to nine Sudanese lawyers - who often represent victims of the Dafur crisis. The training is designed to equip the lawyers in asserting claims before international tribunals, incuding the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

Dean Epps has long supported goals for global justice. She provided training in international criminal law as part of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda as well as trial advocacy in China and Japan.
