DOES GRUTTER OFFER COURTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONSIDER RACE IN JURY SELECTION AND DECISION RELATED TO PROMOTING FAIRNESS IN THE DELIBERATION PROCESS?

This article by Prof. Phoebe Haddon of Temple Law School considers the Supreme Court affirmative action cases including Grutter v. Bollinger which provides support for jury selection to include more people of color. Grutter opens the possibility to develop ways to include a diverse citizenry in the jury system. 13 Temp.
