NITA PUBLICATIONS

The National Institute for Trial Advocacy has just published its newest litigation skills publication: How to Try a Jury Case by John Kimberling. It covers the trial process from beginning to end. It claims to be especially important for professors teaching the basics of trial advocacy.

RIGHT MESSAGE, RIGHT JURY

Pennsylvania Bar Institute has published a pertinent book (2007) titled Sending the Right Message to the Jury : Communicating Persuasively During Voir Dire and Trial. Some of the topics discussed are: effective defense openings, jury psychology, thoughts on diversity in the trial team as it affects jurors. It is essentially about communicating the right message to the right jury.
