TEMPLE TRIAL TEAM WINS NORTHEAST REGIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRIAL ADVOCACY COMPETITION

This past weekend, Temple's National Trial Team won the sixth Northeast Regional Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition.
The team of Marian Braccia, Nikki Camiso, Tiffany Gainer, Chris Mattioli and James Zoll defeated Catholic, Fordham, St.Johns, Syracuse, UConn, Maryland and Quinnipiac. Marian Braccia won the "Best Advocate" award.

TEMPLE LAW SCHOOL'S CHAMPIONSHIP TRIAL ADVOCACY PROGRAMS ABROAD

China: The LL.M program, taught in Beijing and Philadelphia, offers courses in trial advocacy. Temple Law also offers a prosecutors training program for Chinese prosecutors held in Philadelphia.

Japan: The Japanese Bar Association invited Temple Law to conduct a Jury Trial Advocacy training program for its members.

Poland: Catholic University of Lublin's Center for Advanced Legal Studies invited Temple Law faculty to teach trial advocacy to practising Polish lawyers in the Center's Post Gradute Program.

There is an exciting web site called Trial Theater at http://www.TrialTheater.com and it offers a free weekly Trial Tips Newsletter at http://www.TrialTheater.com/podcast.htm for the choice of an audio version of the Newsletter. The audio presentation narrated by its author, Elliot
Wilcox, contains tips, ideas, interviews, reviews, resources on trial advocacy. It is simple and practical. It offers "presentation techniques that work". Very interesting.
